Check out this article www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2092-1522606_1,00.html It talks about how our life expectancies are increasing and how the first person to live to 150 will probably be able to live hundreds of years. It's absolutely fascinating! The one point they brought up is in light of the current over population issues that people would have to choose to live forever or to have kids. There's just so much in that article that got me thinking that I am definitely going to buy the book. Would you want to live 1200 years? Would you rather live forever than have a lot of kids?

I always tell myself that I'd never want to live forever. But then I think about how much more I could accomplish in my lifetime, if my lifetime was so much longer. Hm.

well what is interesting is that they theorize that you wouldn't live "forever" because based on probability something would happen within about 1200 years that would cause you to die by accident. It would be nice to accomplish everything you want to though :)
