i wud rate test ton to be better... coz it needs much more charater, ability, patience to complete a test ton... but on the other hand a ODI ton is difficult in the sense u have only a stipulated time and u have to score a ton within that stipulated time.... and it may be difficult to reach the milestone when u r coming in the 20th or 30th over

I think we cannot compare an ODi ton wih a test ton....The way both the forms of game are played is completely different... BUt for me a test hundred is much more valuable and harder to get ans in test matches teh firelds are much more attacking and u have to scaore and u cannot afford to bevery attacking all the time But i think the value of a ton is more in the sitaution in which it has been stored

I think hundred is a hundred in whatever form of cricket you score it is special. But the way you get hundreds in tests and ODIs is bit different. As there are differnt challenges for batsmen in both forms of game. In ODIs batsman has to score runs at fast clip and gets less chances to score huindred unless you are opening the innings mostly on batsman friendly wickets. But it is surely more entetaining as lot of fours and isxes are hit in ODIs. But if youa re purist ,then you will like hundred scored in test cricket as there is even contest between bat and ball. As there are more sporting tracks with allows bowlers to attack batsmen more and test out their technique and temperament. it is true test of character of any batsman. besides in test cricket with attacking fields it is easier to get batsman out.

i think the real class of a batsmen is known when he plays a test match for example:- afridi of pakistan who is very devastating in odis couldnt excell in test match cricket so u need to have the technique to be a rreal test player so i value a test ton even though odi ton is a good effort i dont mean to hurt any one

ya technique does the trick it is the only thing which can make one survive in tests

hitting 100 in any form of the game is valuable, useful and helps more in the team"s cause......... you are right in odi's it is difficult..... But in tests there is a lot of catching positions , so u get out with one wrong shot quite easily..... so i think test ton...... wat u say about this...???
