I think you need to think carefully before you invest in emerging markets.Because you will exposed to higher risk market that makes your principle have substantial gain or loss.You can find what is the potential risks is these markets such as tax policy,political status,the company performance of that country.One important thing is you should diversify your portfolio into different assets types and let your money grow,revise your portfolio quarterly or half -yearly.So that you can look at your portfolio and make changes if there are some asset type that is out perform.
