Computers and more electronic communication devices release some radiation but as to whether it is harmful to you is not yet certain as seen from the evidence available. Naturally a long stress on anything is bad for you. Computers are not bad for radiation, they are bad for other things such as your eyes (sorry, I don't know much about this). They can also cause other stuff like Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), which means that your hands will be strained and can be seen as a sort of handicape.

Staring at anything for a long time is bad for your eyes. Long time computer use has been known to cause astigmatism (which I have a light case of, primarily from computer use). Take more breaks. Look at things far away. Anything to make your eyes focus at more varied lengths.
