Ive never been one to exercise. I hated the idea of walking, or doing something like that. It was always so boring! But after having a baby, I joined a gym. Curves, to be specific, and its the best thing ive ever done with my life! It makes exercising fun. I am alot healthier now and I feel great :)

I exercise quite a lot. I go to gym to exercise. I do running on the treadmill, use the cross trainer and do cycling as well. I am basically into fitness. So, i dn't do that wtlifting type of thing, like dumbles n all that.

Well my work is physical which as well as keeping me 'rooted' aids fitness but I also ride and find this a most excellent exercise, you don't even think you are exercising. Perhaps contrary to what people might expect I have come back from a ride exhausted and dripping with sweat. Riding English saddle is also good for posture and your back, (unless you get thrown!) all the best urban

I am not an exercise person . I rarely run or jog because I get breathless quickly ,the only excuse for excercise that I do is using my "chest-expanders" and rare 5 min runs on an indoor-bicycle .I'm not fat inspite of that , I am 84 kilos and 178 cm talls , so Im rather average .

Exercise, I have totally put this off. I used to go to the gym a few times a week. Now, my exercise consists of chasing my 2 year old around the house all day. I do plan to start the gym again and use the treadmill.

I just play basketball, i don't do much other things. I used to do some fitness some months ago but that was when basketball didn't start yet, now i don't have the time to do anything else to stay healthy.

I am both a walker and a runner. I also do Yoga and martial arts, weight lifting (Both strength training and toning, I used to be on a body building program that I designed for myself, but got lazy when I went to high school. Am now in college and have not worked out that intense since.), I do calisthenics, and try to experiment with many other exercises for fun. I don't exercise for health reasons, that is just a benefit, my purpose is always to have a lot of fun. To the end of having fun I am always looking for and inventing new exercises to try. I also always exercise mind and body. I believe that a healthy mind adds to the health of the body and even to the abilities of the body. I have noted that on days when my mind is most sharp I am able to safely push myself further than on days when I am not so sharp. This is in a big part motivational, concentrational, and a will power issue all of which function best when the mind is at its best. I intend to soon go back on that body building program. Here is a general idea of what it will be like. Rest is actually the first part. You can not underestimate this because it is when your body truly becomes stronger. The exercise we do while awake the body recovers from and gets stronger so as to be able to handle more of it when we are asleep and resting. So sleep and rest are essential. I will start by working on two muscle groups or body areas at a time twice a week. And, I will focus on two sets of 10 to 12 reps for just about ever exercise. For jogging and walking this is about 15-30 minutes for each doing jogging one day and walking another. Then diet is important to consider. I address what I believe I need at any given moment. More protein for weight lifting and various nutrients to replace if I have been stressed out. Well that is that. cheers to a good subject thanks.

Martial arts might be an even better way to go. However, deciding on what to take can be somewhat difficult, as there are all different styles, each one being different from each ohter. It also depends on the schools available in your area, or who's around that is good with whatever they studied & willing to teach you. If not, there are instructional videos available, but if you're moving the wrong way & do not realize it, the video is not exactly gonna jump out & say, "Hey, you're doing that wrong." determining what is right for you can be a tough choice.

I had spinal surgery 3 years ago, and the best thing for that is walking. I've walked so much in the last 3 years, I feel like Forrest Gump!! Thank God for my Ipod, it keeps me entertained while I'm walking. :-) Sometimes we go to the gym and workout too.
