Assembled or Branded ? Which computer do you use ?
I use an assembled one cause it is cheaper and you can customize the specification according to you need and budget which is not possible if you go for a branded one.

My computer is branded but I plan on assebling one myself someday. I just need a little bit of education and a whole lot of confidence. LOL I don't know much about computers but I do know my computer was loaded with a bunch of useless crap and missing most of what I need.

Thanks for your response.
As you mentioned assembling your own needs a bit education and confidence then by going branded you got the best deal. A branded machine comes with a lot of goodies and service contract.
Feel free to ask any computer related problem.

Most definitely assembled or in techie term, barebone. You have total control of what devices/peripherals you want to put in your computer unlike branded ones where there's little control for diversity. Sometimes you might end up with an assembled rig that a little or a lot more expensive than branded ones but you'll definitely be sure that this rig will last for years. Customization will identify you as a techie and not just a computer user.

Yeah. I agree with you. It definitely worked better for me.
I believe going for a branded one is like let them take a free ride. They also assembles the pcs but on a larger scale.
