I've studied Historical arts and architecture back in college and i remember my professor said that every decade, the pyramids of gyza sinks slowly and eventually, it will be buried under the desert of egypt. Either that..or the harsh climate of the place will completely deteriorate these remarkable monuments. Well, i just hope i get to visit this marvel before it's gone. Would you guys have any facts on this?

I don't have any facts on the pyramids but I do know that there are preservation concerns with some of the materials. I have a friend who is majoring in egyptology/preservation for that very reason. I'd hope if they are indeed sinking every decade that efforts are being made to prevent/slow the process. One of their lead guys over there, Dr. Zahi Hawass, he seems very protective over his heritage and would work hard to collaborate with the right people to prevent natural deterioration. I don't know, but I have never seen the pyramids and it's in the top seven places I must see before I go!
