dreams helping with decisions

Ok ok, this is kind of silly and I'll admit that right now. However I found this quite interesting. Well I just woke up from quite a few dreams which I actually remember, normally I forget them as soon as I wake up. Well anyway I was recently debating whether to buy a lizard or a snake when I start my new job. In this dream I somehow had 2 loose snakes in my house, I don't know if they were pets or what but thats not really important. Anyway it was dark and I was walking around and I didn't know where one of the snakes were, the bigger one if it makes any difference, it turned out that it was silently following me waiting for a chance to bite. I woke up as it was lunging at me. The dream was a lot more involved but I won't bore you with the details. Needless to say I have decided on the lizard. I just thought this was interesting. It's like my mind was made up while sleeping. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this.

NOT SILLY AT ALL! This is coming from a dreamer though ; ) Our dreams are a way of tapping into our subconscience mind. We can realize desires and face fears. We can peer into the future or take a trip back into the past. I think the lizard is a great choice. My Mom was just telling me how her friend's snake got loose and she awoke in the middle of the night, only to be bitten by the snake from beneath her couch! Your story reminded me of my mom's friend....too bad she didn't foresee it in her dream! My dreams help me make decisions all of the time and they have even warned me from danger!

Great response. Too bad about your moms friend though, maybe she should have slept on it before buying the snake. I find dreams to be quite interesting. I use to have this dream of sinking all the time. Just to day I decided to look it up and what do you know it was something along the lines of the ending of an important or signifigant stage in your life. I was having the dream right up until I changed schools, right before I finally found a house I could live in for more then a month, right before becoming a better student. I stopped having this drowning/sinking dream right after all of these events took place.

You're not silly at all. A lot of things go on in your head and your dreams are just a manifestation of all of these things. You may have really been leaning toward a lizard and not really thinking about it in your conscious state...your unconscious state of mind relayed the info to you in the only way it could...thru a dream. Dreams are a pathway for information that your conscious mind can not or will not conjure up.
