I'm also a newbie. But I've already earned a little more than a dollar for 50 posts. So I can say that I'm doing better than you. I don't have any referrals yet. My earnings are basically from posting. Maybe you should try posting longer messages as told by the other established members. Rating replies and comments to your post supposedly give you more earnings. Reaching 100 post increases your per post earning too. So keep up posting and your see an increase in your earnings.

dont post single line answer.try to be descriptive and to the discussion.If you give good reply then there is a possibility that you can get best response and hence more cents for your post.further try to upload pictures in your interests and also along the discussion.but for that you should get 500 rating.start discussions which attracts lot of response.

Try to always use pictures in your discussions and try to get referrals. Also try answering old discussions and discussions with no responses, eventhough if they are with no responses there should be a reason. when you get this done for some time you'll some increased earnings. try it

Considering your low rating, I'd guess that your discussions and comments aren't inspiring people to rate you with a plus. First, read the guidelines (link at the bottom of every page), and pay attention to the hundreds of discussions where people are giving good advice on how to earn money here. Good luck.

Post some pictures, submit new discussions, rate their answers, comment on their answers. Interact with everyone. =)

Post more or get some refs, that'll increase your earnings.
