I don't like Valentine's Day very much. I know people who get stuff like it. But what about the rest of us? As much as we try and convince ourselves that we don't care if we get anything or not, we still feel crappy if we don't get those flowers or candy or even a card from a person we thought cared about us. Especially when it seems everyone around me is getting something. It's just like any other Holiday where gifts are involved, we feel we just gotta give them, and gotta receive something, to feel worthwhile. Of course the Media dosn't help, the way it makes us think that we're total losers if we don't give someone a diamond ring or a dozen expensive roses or a new car, or whatever it is they are selling. It suddenly becomes a Valentine's gift of great importance. Nah..I, for one, don't need Valentine's Day at all.

i think no, because everyday can be love day! but since its st. valentines day celebration why not...

it's not a necessity but i don't think there's harm in celebrating the greatest feeling in the universe, LOVE.
