A second hand car, especially the older ones. I owned a 1971 Chevy Malilbu for a few years, and it was just great. I found an "outlaw" mechanic who could work on cars like that and actually liked doing it. The engines are simpler, and easier to deal with. Even I worked on it myself. These new cars are so complicated and computerized, and I have no idea how to fix them myself any more. Of course, I don't have a car right now, and I desparately need one...but if I had my choice, it would be an older car, with say, 50 or 60 thousand miles on it, and it could pass inspection ok.

new car.. we have warranty, and of course the car a still in good condition because all part are new... no need to repair
