Its ok to say sorry if one is really sorry about something but now-er-days this word is being used just to run away from our own misdeeds. some people just do some thing wrong deliberately and then slip away from it just saying a sorry....for instance once i personally witnessed a scene at a dance club where a boy without permission of the girl just started to dance with her. When she tried to get away from him ,he just started to stick more to her. Finally she called the security and what did the boy say ...only a "sorry" and he actually made it out free as it was a public place.....does that corrects his mistakes? Is this what he does to repent for his wrongs? Its never like that.....what do u say???

Sorry never corrects anyones mistakes but there are times when all one can say is sorry.Like when you bump into someone in the street. But under certain circumstances, it should be said with true feelings. I personally never say sorry without telling myself never to repeat what i did just then.

Sorry is the word which has been exploited badly, but if sorry is said by full heart then it really has meaning otherwise not.Whenever I say sorry it is with true heart.

well!! sorry can definitely work on to such condition but if you have no shame left in you and u simple use this word to escape from troubles then its unforgivable, person who say the word SORRY dont create any such impression of guilt in front of others and which may even lead to keep him in more trouble which he may expect, so if anyone does this he/she would definitely be getting its reward...

People are definitely taking the word sorry for granted. There are many injustices in the world today. An action of violence begins when one hits their other, but sometimes, what really caused the rage? I feel that its the verbal, mental 'screwtanisation' we are facing from others that caused unnecessary rage. In the past, such acts results in the simple declaration of war, and duet if its personal. Those little abuses become life-threatening when we do not see, and regconize the consequences of it. For our tongue is a very powerful weapon. It is because of verbal disagreements that led to most wars around the world. The instance you explained has showed how the ratio of undesirable actions : saying sorry, and how the actions has depreciated to nothing when 'sorry' is being used. Imagine if there were no security guards, and the guy had taken the girl. How would a word of 'sorry' would be able to resolve the truama, the girl has experienced if something bad were to happen to her? justice should be over this.
