Wedding Budget

My boyfriend and I are having the same sort of issues. We've both always been against a long engagement - we want to literally be able to start planning as soon as we're engaged, but neither of us is in the financial position to do that yet and so we have agreed that he won't ask just yet. We're still not sure how we're going to afford everything though, and we're starting to have to consider the idea of a longer (eg 2 year) engagement, in order to raise the savings. According to xe.com 300,000PHP seems to be about £4500, which is about what we're aiming to budget for. How did your wedding go? Did you stick to the budget you wanted?

Php300,000.00 is quiet a lot, I myself is getting married and we are sticking to the budget of 100k. You have to be practical, a lifetime is still ahead of you, there are a lot of ways to have a cheaper but grand wedding. There are places wherein you can buy cheaper but quality items for your wedding (try Divisoria, wedding gowns there range from 3500 and above).
