Have you ever deleted a "friend" because of their views?

I deleted one for the first time because i didn't agree with their extreme views. They suggested that the rest of the world owed America and i resented that comment. It changed the way i viewed the user and i no longer wanted to participate in their discussions. What made you delete one of your "friends".

Unless someone is trying to offend you, you should not stop being friends with them simply because their opinions are different. Everyone has different views. :)

I know but what if their views offend you without them meaning to?

I don't think so but surely it would be even ruder to ask them to stop speaking about something just because you don't like it?

Then I believe it is wrong to unfriend them. People are always going to have different opinions. I guess if they have a view that makes you uneasy, you should ask them not to speak about that particular topic with you. I'm sure not ALL of their views offend you?

Yep I did the same...because in the beginning I added friends who requested...but after awhile, I realised they were just scammers or they had radical views....so I deleted them again.
One must be careful in adding friends just blindly, nowadays I check out their profile first!

Well, I have never done so yet, but if I discovered one of my "friends" was psting racist, sexist, or homophobic posts, then I would definately delete them.
