upset with parents

Just be proud to survived your first failure, I did many before I was able to start business smart way. It may be better for you to moved and live along or remind parents sometime how old you are.

to me it sounds like they are afraid to see try something new and fail they dont want to see you hurt but at the same time maybe you should save your money and when/if the time comes you could try to open up your cd store again or who knows maybe something better

Just do your things. They are probably affraid that you will not live your life. I am sure that they got to know that one of your same age relative , or an old schoolmate has a super business, or big house etc.. and they are embarrased why are not you..why is not their son so succesful. Probably they felt shame when somebody told them news about son or daughter, or grandchildren... Anyway they want good to you, so ask them how do they think? what should you do?

at least you work. you will be able to save if you keep working. your business can be sold, it is an investment already. I don't know what tax lien is, over here we file tax claim evey few months and get return from it or some people have to pay.

If you have a biz that does not take off, it's smart to wind it down, as you seem to be doing. CD's really are a thing of the past, as you may have realized, people like downloading these days. If you're looking for a small biz on the side, start with downloadable audio books. I run an affiliate program for that, check it out. Our affiliates make nice money. it's not get rich quick, but it brings in money without an investment:Get yourself a few free blogs, start posting about the audio books (pick extracts of the book descriptions, add a few sentences of your own) add your Affiliate links and off you go. Here's the plan:- open 5 blogs from different free blog providers, (and maybe get a few free websites or even your own domain if you are web savy - but that's not absolutely necessary, the blogs work well!) - post 3 to 5 books per blog per day, make each blog theme specific, like one for detective audio books, one for romance fiction, one for self help books, one for language courses, one for biography audios, etc... - do that for 90 days, every day. - link from time to time from one blog to the other, if you want to know how to best do that, get in touch with me. Result after 90 days: approx 2000 pages of web content, theme specific and regularly updated (you're blogging every day!)= the Search engines love you! you can be found when people look for certain words or a specific book= They use your affiliate link= you earn money. This is not get rich quick and it needs a constant effort. Don't expect to earn the first few days.
