New DVD Players?

I've heard a strange rumour that there's a new DVD player that will not play burned DVD's. I'm not 100% sure of all the details, but I'll try my best to find out. Has anybody else heard of this? Opinions?

Most of the present DVD/Blu-Ray players do support to play burned DVD's, most of the models do have the option to read movies from pen drive ...

he he he, good luck in trying to sell this dvd-player. I do belive that the burned dvds are here to stay - and what if I back-up mine and the original breaks - with this player I am forced to buy another one? I haven´t heard about it but I am sure that they are planning something, don´t think it will be successful though

I sure hope that this isn't true, because a huge portion of my DVD collection is burned! Maybe I shouldn't admit that... Please let us know if you find anything out.
