Will there ever be a Ghostbusters 3?

As per title really, I heard rumours a while back that Dan Ackroyd was planning on doing another Ghostbusters film, but nothing seems to have surfaced.
Any heard anything, rumours or otherwise?

My boyfriend told me he heard that before and saw it on a college rumor website. They talked about it like a year or two ago but since then I haven't heard about it. It would be sweet though!

Dan aykroyd has announced that they are currently working on a video game. Rumor has it that the 3rd movie will be incorporated in the game. check out protoncharging.com for more ghostbusters news.

If your talking about ghostbusters I believe it should be back in square one. The Ghostbusters animation was good and I grew up watching them. It should be better than the previous movies. I mean with all the the technologies and computer graphics now it will be a great movie.

I haven't heard anything but I think it would be hilarious if there was a 3rd movie. I would probably lmao.

I think they should do one. I mean, it would be really awesome and it would
top any other hollywood movie to date IMO. All 4 of the original cast should be in it. Nevermind janine lol
