I like to see how people get rid of their clutter. I've been working on mine slowly for a while. It's really nice to be able to let go of things. Some of them I didn't think I'd be able to. I really do prefer for my home to be clean and less cluttered. I just wish I had the money to do lots of painting and new furniture too.

Every weekend I try to remove some clutter from my house, but I am not very successful at it as most of the things I feel I will need someday.

I do love watching other people get organized. It sometimes inspires me to reevaluate my own space, but it has yet to motivate me to get organized myself. :D

I love those shows. I find them really inspiring, and it gets me busy cleaning my closets. I wish I had some money to have someone come in and do it for me. Oh well, we'll just have to stick with it.

I think I watched that show in the our cable channel sometime ago and it was great to learn stuff like organizing and cleaning some clutter too! I was a bit busy woman for the past few months but really see to it that I have time to clean my master bedroom every saturday and get rid of things in the bedroom with less use. It is really fun to decorate and get rid of things that are of less use and make the home for clutter free!

Yes, I love to watch those shows and imagine that some day I will be able to accomplish the same thing! Every weekend I try to pick a small part of the house, even just a drawer, and clean it out. It's better, but I have a long way to go!

Hi again cjthedog64! I've only watched a few shows like that and found them to be very amusing. I just don't think I could let someone actually go thru & trash most of my stuff. ~:) However. I do like to keep the clutter down to a minimum, so after 2 moves in 2 years, and after being in the same place for 8 years before that, I have recently been going thru my storage unit to get rid of as much as possible in order to cut down on expenses. At Christmas, I got the last of my daughters stuff delivered to her new place & it was great to be able to move around in there again. For the last few weeks I have been working on reducing what's left. We even had a disappointing garage sale, but it's been worth it. As of today, we actually moved into a unit half the size. Whew! Next goal, getting rid of the storage unit bill each month. Hopefully I can do it by the beginning of summer, but there's no way I'd let a crew come in to do it for me. I've rediscovered lots of treasures & memories by doing it myself. LOL Maybe you could do a few garage sales to help you get rid of the clutter & buy a gallon or so of paint with what you make from it. I've been amazed at what those shows can do with just a few cans of paint. :)

I love watching all those home type shows. I could sit and watch them for hours. I like to see the transformations after they have decluttered their homes or rooms. I always get inspired to do something in my home after watching them. I try to tackle one room or one thing at a time and I always feel so much better when it's done - like I accomplished something. Even if all I did was clean out and reorganize my medicine cabinet! *hah* I also like to watch the yard make-overs. I wish I could afford to apply for those shows and have an expert come out and redo my yard within my budget.
