Are there really any work at home jobs?

I am just wondering if there are any "real" work at home "jobs" out there, I have been searching about a million sites and I can't seem to get any responses. Could be due to an overwhelming amount of people "beating me to the punch" but I am a single mother, currently out of work and VERY limited resources for childcare when my son is not in school. I really need something where I can pretty much set my own hours and do from home that also provides enough income to get by on. I'm not looking for a 6 figure income just something to pay the bills. If anyone out there works for a home based company or knows of some resources I could use any and all info will be greatly appreciated!

There are real work at home jobs. Finding a work at home job can take months. It depends on what you're looking for. IF it's data entry jobs those are really hard to come by and they are snatched up quickly. Medical transcription jobs are more available, but require experience. Work at home jobs are hard to find. Technical, phone work or writing jobs are the most common legit ones. You may want to check out some job leads at http://wahjobs.blogspot.com Plus there is a listing of companies that regularly hire telecommuters

Yes but there are more scams then legit.
I found a work at home job. I'm with Stayin Home and Lovin It! and they are partnered with a wellness company that is 21 years old and in good standing with the Better Business Buerau. No selling door to door, no big investment, and no risk. I have health problems so that is why I needed a work at home business, but the woman who brought me to this is a stay home mom of 2 loves this and is doing very well.
