Which one do you think sing the best, Brian Mcknight or Maxwell?

I like them both but I favor Maxwell. Perhaps it's b/c Brian started producing cds every year and the lyrics lost their appeal - like he lost his inspiration in the rush of putting out new cd. Every few cds would sound like good. Whereas, Maxwell's cds come out so infrequent...it gives me a chance to miss and adore him when he finally comes back on the scene

The long-awaited return of the mysterious Maxwell is supposed to come in the form of the Black Summer's Night album, which is due out Feb. 13, 2007 (the day before Valentine's Day). Recent news: Maxwell's official website announced that the new album is the first part of a trilogy, and that the two subsequent discs will be coming in 2008 and 2009. We'll see.

I have not heard his new album yet. I'm just finding about it today. I can't wait to hear the cd's.

I've heard about Maxwell's new cd coming out for a few years now and still not a peep...as we all know Feb. 13, 2007 has come and gone...any news of the next "release date"?? Is the trilogy still going to happen? Give me the scoop!!

if we're considering the whole musicality of the artist i think it would be brian, he's an all around musician, piano, trumpet, guitars... he is exceptional... and when you hear him live, he'll leave you in awe... great performer... an artist i am aspiring to be like.

I would have to say Brian Mcknight. I just love his voice. I just go in another world when i hear him. And also his song are so good. He's a great artist :)

man thats a really hard question....I think they both have incredible voices, but I would have to say Maxwell, mainly because I like his music more. not that brian mcknight is a genius also!

I can't compare the two as they both have such different styles. I like them both for different reasons as they cater to different parts of me - Brian McKnight taps into my sensitive side - Maxwell taps into my sensual side.

I prefer Brian McKnight myself. I have nothing against Maxwell myself, but haven't heard from him in years.

if i were to choose between the two, it would be Brian McKnight.. I really really LOVE his songs!!! I love his music.. i love every lyrics of his songs... his music relaxes my mind and i never get bored whenever i hear his songs.. his music is soothing...
his song "HOME" i my favorite.. as far as i know, it has two versions.. the first one is somewhat like a Worship song and the other one is a some sort of a Love song..

I love them both! There is good reasoning in my choice if having to choose, though. I would say Brian McKnight because it seems he has more longevity and it more in tuned to the mainstream audience. I don't think the world was ever ready for Maxwell, he is a whole 'nother level of artist. Plus, Brian is much more manly! Heheh!
