the violence in kashmir has decreased to some extent....now the ppl there want peace...but recent incidents of kashmiri model tariq bhat n fake encounters have once again sparked the anger of ppl there. i think india govt shud try to win peoples hearts rather.. After losing abt 1lakh lives since the militancy, ppl realized d fault n r slowly condemning militancy. but due to some recent incidents ppl r losing faith in indian govt.

i just know little about kashmir issue the paramount issue reaned kashmir .pakistan raised this issue at human right level in gevena and new york to impress upon the united nations the deteriorating situation in kashmir.the year began with talk with india which could not make any dent in new dehli's attitude.our effort to raise this issue at gevena failed partly because of the lack of sufficient homework and partly because of the indifference of the post cold war political climate.

well yes i believe, but many people do not realise that the militants are hidden among the people and most of the kashmiri people know that, but they do not divulge the details of the militants as they are afraid...till this is the case we cannot do anything, and u cannot blame the army and govt....due to the army there is some peace in the kashmir valley...if they werent there then god knows the terrorists wouyld have slaughtered the whole land

the final solution needs stratigic decisions from india, pakistan and kashmir.
i would think that an administrative commitee from the 3 parties is needed atm, and finally hand over the administration to the kashmire ppl under the supervision of UN.
its a pity such very poooor countries like indian, pakistan have to input that effort and resources on the misery of the kashmir ppl.
btw, i am a chinese here.
