gilmore girls family crisis?

I love this show and never miss an episode. I was thinking that will Lors father being in the hospital and Chris running away that this is perfect timing for Luke to come back in the picture. They were always great friends and he has always been there when she was down. Will this be the opening that is needed to get them back together? Will Chris show up to be Lor's rock or will he stay a way too long and Luke step in?
Personally I hope Luke is the one she turns too. I think they belong together.

i'm hopeing that luke comes back into lorelai's life. i think they are great together. I think chris is still too imature to be with her cause he's allready super jelous of everything.

Yes you are right. Chris seems to run anytime things get tough. He took off years ago when Lor got pregnant. I was surprised when he stuck it out with Gigi's mother so long. He is very insecure with the relationship he has with Lorelai. A marriage can not be last if there is no trust. Even if she is not romantic with Luke she will always be his friend. Luke has always been there for her so why would she give up the friendship.

Lorali is pushing. You have to remember she is so used to being on here own that she wants things her way. I can understand her not wanting to move. She has friends in this town. The town was there for her and Rory for so long and her business is there. The other thing is she thinks he is trying to change her. I do think she is pushing though too but Chris has to put his jelousy on the side too.

I think Chris has changed though. He has done more than his fair share to prove to Lorelai that he is in it for the long haul. He moved to her town, into her house, and tried to befriend her friends. If he does run this time I think it is Lorelai's fault. She has been treating him terribly this season.

I think now that they are married it is time to finally get Luke out of the picture. Chris & Loreli's relationship shpuld not be taken lightly.

Luke up & ran when April came around though too. He pushed Loreli away.

Luke pushed Loreli away because he did not know how to handle the whole situation. He has never been an actual father and if you remember the kids mother wanted him to Loreli at arms length when his daughter was with him. Luke doesn't handle pressure well. He however, has steped up and want to be a dad and is fighting for his rights.

I just don't think Chris has staying power. Chris likes to run away when things get tough. I am sorry to say but last week he proved it. He seems to never be around when she really needs him.

I think the writers of GG have seen that the audience is not fired up about chris and loralei getting married, so they are flipping it around and using Richard's heart attack to pull Luke back into the picture emotionally. At first, I kind of liked Chris, and I was mad at Luke, but now, Chris is really starting to get to me with this whole "you aren't allowed to talk to him" bs considering Luke was the only father figure that Rory had for most of her life because he was off galavanting around.

I used to think that the first love in someone life was the greatest love. This show is showing me that some times the love you have for your first love in immature and young. When you get older you change. I Lorali is in love with her memories of Chris than with Chris himself. That may sound a little corny.
I also did not like the fact that he would not let her talk to Luke or even get coffee from him. Now that is rediculouse. You can not have a good relationship when you are telling someone who they can and can not talk to.

I think Christopher is being a big baby. Lorelei was just trying to help a friend keep visitation of his child. It was so sad to watch Lorelei leaving messages for Chris almost begging him to be there for her. She shouldn't have to beg. He is her husband for goodness sake. He needs to man up and be there for his family. He has shown that he doesn't deserve to be Lorelei's husband.
Luke was awesome and was there even when he wasn't asked to be. He ran Emily's errands and then came back with food. He is just so sweet. He is showing that he is dependable and able to be there for her.

I miss Luke being the main man. And I'm hoping also that this Tuesday's episode will bring Luke back into the picture and Christopher out. Luke was there the other time Lor's father was in the hospital. I agree, them together is just good for the show. Not to mention I think most of us fans prefer them as a couple over Christopher.

I do like Chris but he just doesn't seem right for her. I forgot this is her fathers second trip to the hospital. Can you refresh my mind and tell me what he was in for the first time. I hope he recovers. I really like him because he is the buffer between Lor and her mother.

I remember Rory was over at the grandparents house for dinner by herself when Richard collapsed. I believe it was heart trouble. When Lorelai got the call about her dad she happend to be with Luke. Luke ended up driving her to the hospital. It was really sweet that Luke would take her because he is very squeamish about hospitals.
