Hurricane in Florida...

I heard in news that again a hurricane has errupted in Florida....how much devastating it is??? and hv u been affected by ths hurricane???what is the code name of this hurricate like katrina, rita?????

It was not a hurricane it was 2 tornados and EF3 and an EF1 and there was a lot of damage done. One church was demolished but the church goers said that they would still have church at that site today and that they would rebuild it according to God's plan. It was nice to see a lot of people helping those who had been hit by the tornados and the quick response with which the government was put in motion for a change.

Thanks for making it clear. I ma actually confused between a hurricane and a tornadoe. Will u plz explain it for me.

The difference between the two are that with hurricanes you have plenty of warning and they last a lot longer sometimes for days moving up the coast. Tornados tend to touch down quickly and cause a lot of damage then just disappear.

Yeah, it was several tornadoes. I didn't know they were that bad in that part of the country. I've seen it all over the news and newspapers, but I haven't actually read a lot about it. Looks horrible, though...I really feel sorry for all those affected.
