if all people were to go for their dreams, would the world be a better place?

paolo coelho inspired me to ask this question, the author known for inspiring people to go after their dreans, saying, when you want something so much, the universe conspires for you to achieve it. but what if every single person in the world would go after their dreams? with all their personal differences? would the world be a better place than it is today? it may be complicated for me, in two ways.
one - if everyone would be busy reaching their aspirations, then their would be no room for negativity, since everyone would be in a driven situation... but
two - of everyone would go for their dreams, there may be confusion since people's dreams vary, and that would result to conflicts.
example: I dream of world domination, but another dreams of world peace.
let us all divulge our knowledge on this. thank you.
