Has anyone had any problems with a 2003 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe?

I've been having starting problems with my Ion. I'll go to start it and it won't turn over at all, won't even make a sound. But then i'll try again a little later and it will start right up. So I'm just curious if someone else has that type car and similar problems.

I have one as well. I find that if I turn the key just till all of the lights and stuff come on and wait till all of the dinging and stuff stops, then turn it over. Start every time. I have talked to my mechanic and he is baffled. I have replaced several sensors and it has not changed. I noticed that it does it more when it is really hot or really cold. I love my car and I hope there is someone in myLot that can help.

So you do have trouble with it starting? I'm at 46,565 mileage and i've kept up with the service and it was just the weirdest thing for it to not start up. I'm taking it to the saturn dealer tomorrow but its really annoying not knowing whether if my car will start or not. I replaced the battery on Saturday so i know it has something to do with the electrical part. So who knows. I'll let you know what happens

So my car was there all morning and afternoon. They did the diagnostic test on it where they hook it up to all the machines, they said it was the starter that it wasn't making a good connection with the key, so they replaced that and told me it should be fixed so i'm hoping so! My warranty covered everything so thank god i didn't have to shell out anymore money.
