what are those stars?

Ok ive noticed stars with numbers next to peoples names. Im new to mylot and i was just wondering what they were for.

It is a reflection of how other mylot users consider you to be. For every post or comment, other users rank you with a + or - sign.
If they think you violate the policy they can ! Report you.
So the more people that rate you + the higher your star rating is.
Currently the ratings are from 1* to 10*
If you moseover someone's star, then you could see what their percentage ranking is.
Also do not forget to select the Best Response from among your responses.

They are rankings. Once you have 100+ posts, you'll get a star. The higher the number inside your star, the higher the value of your posts. =) Keep posting quality responses and you may get a 10 star initially. =)
