I have no tips for you as my son was the same way. I just wanted to let you know you were not alone... Hopefully she will sleep more soon.
Oh, one thing, Ian would sleep better cuddle up to me, it seems like he would get cold, he is a dec baby. Is she eating when she awakes? it might be a growth spurt too...

This is something that all parents have to undergo till the baby grows up. When a baby wakes up he needs attention. If he does not get it in time he starts crying. Then it is very difficult to put him back to sleep. The baby is not aware of day or night. He does not know night is the time for sleeping. He covers his sleeping hours throughout the day.

Hey, my 2.5 year old hardly sleeps thro the night for the most part..so it does take awhile. Some children are just better sleepers. I found that wrapping my son up (like they do at the hospital) made him sleep better!!! I think he was cold and being wrapped made him feel like he was close to something. Anyways, that worked for us at least. Hope you have found something to help...being tired is frustrating!

this is normal. most new babies have these same sleeping habbits which is why they tell you sleep when your baby sleeps, even if its during the day. you may have problems until the baby is about 6 months around the time they start solid foods. by that time they stomach might be larger enough to handle them throughout the entire night. after that point is a comfort thing. just try to feed your child as much as she wants right before she goes to sleep, a full belly helps them sleep just a bit longer. make sure they're in their own bed. its important to get them to sleep in their own beds no matter what or you'll be dealing with a stuborn child wanting to always sleep with you.
...when she's only enough, create a sleeping/bedtime routine. this will help them sleep through the night and also sleep in their own beds.
since she is really young, she might want to be swaddled a bit more. try also rolling up a blanket and placing her on her side with the blanket behind her while she's all swaddled. babies like to be all tight and tucket in because it reminds them of the womb. they also have those bears that make the noises of a heart beat which should help calm the baby down. but until they're older, they won't be able to sleep more then a few hours. you may be lucky to get about 4 hours our of her at a time. also, try keeping her active during the day and night time let her relax and rest. if she's kept active and sleeps less during the day, she will be more tired at night. it might be hard, but don't force her to stay awake, she still needs her sleep. but don't force her to go back to sleep. its better if she's awake.

i was thinking about ceral. because it would fill h er better.. but i dont want to start her out to early. so im holding off. i always make sure she sleeps in her bed for the reason of not wanting to later on in life. the thing i dont understand with her is that shes wake most the day.. she will maybe sleep 3 solid hours durring the day. she really doesnt sleep much.
i was also afraid that maybe she is starting to teeth. shes been drooling alot.. fussy a lot.. and i can see these little white bumps where her first 2 bottom teeth are susposed to come in.
im starting to get her into a routine.. well trying to.

we'll your off to a good start. basicly, since she's still young you can't give her creral. 3 months is probably the earliest to start giving her a little solid food. i don't think its teething, at most maybe a growth spirt. teething doesn't come in until around 9 months, so you have a while before that. but babies her age will probably eat every 2 hours. because they tummy isn't that big. just hang on in there and stay strong. i had to wait till my son was over a year old to sleep somsomewhat through the night, so i know your pain...
just keep up what you're doing. its all good. let her sleep when she needs to but try spread it out. limit it to maybe 1 hour at a time. she'll still wake up to feed, so don't get our hopes up just yet. things WILL get better trust me.

Just so you know your not alone all parents go through it. One of the greatest presents my sister in law gave me after my son was born was to take him for the night. It was the first decent nights sleep I had in months. Eventually she will grow out of it, my son is 3 now and he sleeps through the night at least most nights he does lol.
