Best area to live on Kauai

I'm hoping to move to Kauai (read: 5 year plan), and loved the Poipu/Koloa area - where would everyone else choose to live on the island?

I honestly don't know one place there.
Well i've heard of places but i've forgotten 'em. a friend of mine used to live in hawaii, he parents used to friends with mine. I think i was 4 around that time and i haven't heard from her for a long time.
Back to this discussion. I the place she lives was very nice from the picture she sent us. the beach looked amazing so much better than any i've seen or visited. personally if everywhere there looked like those pictures i saw i wouldn't care.

The whole island is gorgeous, I just spend two weeks there with my husband.
I've posted some of my pictures from there on the site here, but really, I guess any place would be good.
We liked Poipu/Koloa because it felt young, laid-back, and the beach was amazing - the only area we didn't like was the northern section around Hanalei Bay/Princeville. It was a beautiful spot, but felt very resort-like and there was less action than on the south end.
