Yeah Horatio's oneliners does make him look mysterious and all-knowing. Sometimes I get his character as more of a psychologist than an ivestigator. Hehe. My hubby and I really do like CSI: miami for H and the crew :)

I like them both for different reasons. Horatio is corny, Grissom is intelligently funny.

It's true, Grissoms one liners are great in a totally different way. I misseg him when he was gone.

His one-liners are so funny, and so cheesy. The sunglasses trick is amazing!

I think a lot of it has to do with the way that he presents things and the way he stands. Anyone can whip out one liners but Horatio has a way of doing it with style. Friday nights are usually spent watching the marathon that they run on one of the networks and if I don't have any plans, some friends come over and we watch them all.

I agree. I think anyone else with some of those one-liners might be too corny for me. But Horatio I adore. There was a skit David Spade did where he said that Horatio says everything as if The Who is about to kick in ('yeaaaaaaaaaaaa!'). We laughed so hard because it really is true - every line could be followeed but 'yeaaaaaaaaaa' He delivers all of his lines that way. Too funny.

I agree, his one-liners are great most of the time. Sometimes they get a bit corny though. You always know he's gonna say one of them too. He has the same routine of putting on the glasses, hands on the hips then out comes the line. Its kinda funny, actually.

My husband and I joked that you could make a drinking game - have a drink whenever Horatio does a one liner ... LOL. It is quite funny .
