Im not sure about the US, but I do know for a fact that in Canada you cannot acheive much legally if you do not have your green card. Most jobs that are legit require you to present your social security number along with valid ID. You cant apply for a drivers licence or any other licence without an ID. Without papers you cant get a bank account, or even buy a car legally. Even the non-government issued ids such as student cards require some basis of paperwork or governmental identification.

They have no rights because to have right's in this country according to the Law you have to be a citizen of the United States.......That's why employers can get away with paying them slave wages......If they want rights they have to go back to their country and emmigrate the right way.....If they don't want to do that then they have commented a crime and need to be sent back never to return again....Sorry that's the way it is

Thanks. I think we should be more strict with the issue though stop making it easy for them to get here.

I don't think that they should have any rights. They are here illegally. They broke the law and sneaked into our country. They are "working" illegally and should have no rights or benefits. Rights are reserved for citizens and immigrants who follow the laws and procedures for legal entry into the country. I think that they should be pursued and sent back to wherever they came from, no questions asked. The U.S. is too lenient on these people. We don't have the resources to take care of our own people, yet these crazy politicians are trying to cover illegals with health insurance? How many Katrina victims are still living in sub-standard FEMA trailers? These are U.S. citizens. How many U.S. citizens suffering from chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, diabetes, or cancer are without adequate health insurance? WHY should we grant benefits to people who broke the law? Maybe if the U.S. started to toughen up and send these people packing, they would hesitate before storming across the borders in the middle of the night.

I totally agree with you. We have so much we need to take care of with legal us citizens without having to worry about the illegal ones. We need to send them back but not only that we need to do something with our borders. It is far to easy for them to cross it, so wouldnt common sense dictate that we put more security donw there, and maybe build a wall? But i dont think our government will do anything except talk about it untell we our hit with another 9-11 attack on us becuase of the problem with the borders.
