The Pistons just demolished the Cavs and ruled the Central division. As long as C-Webb is injury-free, the will reach the Finals this year. The Wizards has something to say with that but it not yet the time for Arenas. The Heat will fall ih the first round of the Playoffs. It will be Pistons and Suns in June.

C-Webb is a perfect fit. They are 20 - 7 with him in the line up. I agree that it will be Detroit and Phoenix in the Finals. I personally think that the Dallas Mavericks will not be able to reach the finals because they will not get past Phoenix. Pistons and Suns for the NBA Championship. Tonight will be a preview of it. Detroit @ Phoenix 10 ET. This will be a hell of a game!

"The Dallas Mavericks will not be able to reach the Finals because they will not get past Phoenix."
They will, as I think they're the only team that can match up well against the Phoenix Suns. Before the Suns became what they are today, the Mavericks had been running and gunning with Steve Nash at point. Sure, Nash has left for the other team, but hey, can you honestly say the Mavericks can't keep up with the Suns?
I don't think so. They're quick enough, they can shoot well enough, and they have their win-loss record to back-up their reputation as one of the most consistent teams in the NBA today.

I am a huge piston fan. I agree that they will win the east. However I don't think the Mavs will win the championship. I think they will choke like they did last year. The Detroit Pistons can beat any team and they are capable of winning the championship if they stay consistent on both offense and defense.

The Pistons are easily the best team in the East. With Webber, they are easily the strongest team in the conference.
I still think the West will win the NBA Championship, though. Nothing against the Pistons, but my pick right now is the Phoenix Suns. They've got the inside presence with Stoudemire that they didn't have last year, and Steve Nash could viably be the MVP for the third consecutive year (he would have my vote if I had one).
The East is the Pistons and a bunch of also-rans. Toronto lacks experience, Cleveland is one piece away from serious contention because of Larry Hughes being inconsistent (Scottie Pippen would have been great, if only to tutor Hughes on how to be a better distributor) and no one else in the East is work too much mention. Washington isn't built for the playoffs. And besides, would you trust Antawn Jamison? I love Agent 00, and Caron Butler... but I don't see anyone pushing the Pistons.

c-webb is a perfect fit for the pistons. his passing skills is a big help for the pistons especially for rip hamilton, rasheed wallace and tayshaun prince who are all set-up shooters. though c-webb is not as effective defensively as ben wallace, the pistons are more versatile now with c-webb..
i could see the pistons making it to the finals again. and probably the title

I'm surprised at how good Webber's been playing the past few weeks. Crossing over and reverse dunking over opponents? Just like that commentator said: "He's not supposed to still be able to do those stuff!"
I don't really care if he tries that dunk again, as long as the Pistons win more.
And, you were saying Pistons and Suns in June? If that series would go like their last match where the Pistons slapped the Suns around, then cool, let them at it.
