Who thinks Rex Grosman will need a new job after today ?
The weather was bad I know but the defense tried their
hardest. What did Rex do ? I really do not think that
he will be Quarterback next year. Am I wrong ?

My husband doesn't seem to think he'll be back next year....Rex did horrible, but he also lacks experience...this is only his 2nd season only played the last half of last season. I think it was too much pressure for him.

Well in my opinion Rex coasted by with LUCK and not skill for quite a few games. This Superbowl game was a disappointing loss.

There is no way Rex Grossman will be the Bears quarterback this upcoming season. They can't afford to have him choke again like he did in the Super Bowl. Time to bench him after having one of the worst QB performances in Super Bowl history.

Rex will most likely be back Lovie has a lot of faith in him I'm pretty sure. I think Rex tries too hard he can either be real good or real bad. If he gets the right coaching and training he can be a lot better. One thing though I must say is he needs to learn how to run the ball sometimes and quit being scared to take a hit. I saw plenty of opportunities that he could have ran the ball to the outside and faked a pass and ran himself for the first down. I think Rex is pretty predictable he doesen't change things up enough.

In an interesting fact is that Grossman had some of the highest ratings out of any QB in the NFL, yet at the same time he turns around and has some of the worst ratings overall as a QB in the NFL. He needs to solve his gunslinging inconsistancy issue and fast. If he doesnt, then he is going to burn out or be forced out. Honestly I think that the Bears should have put Griese in quite a few times this past season.
If your main guy can't get the job done, then you have to look to your Veteran backup. Just praying he will straighten out is not going to cut it.
Overall, I think the Bears did lousy on all fronts. The Defense had its high moments, but everytime they did 1 thing right they did 5 things wrong. Combine that with Grossman's gunslinging and Benson getting Injured... the Negatives far outweighed the Positives.
