Did your child grow up the way you wanted them to be?

I believe my children grew up wonderful. They are well mannered, respectful and kind. They are also very helpful when others need them. They both work hard at what they want, and seem to be very happy. I raised my children with respect. I let them be children as long as they wanted. I did not pressure them to have too many responsibilities, and I encouraged them to learn what ever interested them. I made sure they had fun growing up and I bet I drove a million miles taking them to all the activities that they wanted to participate in. Children are only children for a short time. I did my best to let them hold on to the innocence and magic that kids know. Once they lose the innocence, they can never turn back. I did not demand respect, I feel like I earned it. My children have also earned my respect.
