as a lifelong people -pleaser and perfectionist, i have often lost myself in the quest for approval. the most fearless thing ive ever donr is ACCEPTING MYSELF FOR WHO I AM - flaws, imperfections, & all. it is a recent concept and one that im still working on mastering. i have dared to be me:)

I have learn the hard way that you can't please everyone and you have to please yourself first. You, are the main person you life with. If you can't live, like and accept yourself, who else is going too.

A few years ago I wanted to make a tribute webpage to a very special friend who had passed away, but I am not that clever with programs and such and a friend of mine told me the simplest way to make a webpage was through word, well I got howled down from all directions that a webpage would be just crap made in word, but I found it very easy so I put aside all the things thar was said, sometimes bringing me to tears...then one day I got an email from The National Library of Australia telling me they wished to archive my webpage which mean if I sifned the papers it would be archived for all time, meaning my webpage will be still going long after I have gone...
