I often see members here just answering for the sake of answering.. just to see that figure next to their avatar increase by one.. but i wonder if the quality of the post matter as well towards the earnings.. lets hear your comments especially from the experienced ones here .. thanks

It says clearly in the Mylot guidelines that short responses aren't credited with earnings. Responses need to be of substantial length, at least a few sentences long to increase your earnings any. This isn't some big secret or something. But people are stupid and ignore it and just pop out their stupid little replies in hopes of a few extra pennies.

Greed plays a major issue. But it seems that these one liners are often posted by newbies. I've seen changes too and I applaud them. The noobs that once posted one liners now have more substantial replies now. But there are a few out there who has 500-odd posts/replies that consists of one liners. Now these are the ones that I can't stand. Don't they see how they're not making much money?

I haven't been here too long, but I've certainly seen enough to tell me that it's possible to be both greedy and stupid. In fact, I tend to believe that greed often makes people stupid. They're in such a hurry to make money that they won't take time to learn the rules, or read enough posts on the site to see what the best members are doing and learn from them. If they're really stupid they have no other way to accomplish what they want except by cheating. Let's just hope that they're all eventually tripped up by their own avarice.

I think quality matters in regards to the amount you earn. I have been here about a month and am earning about what I was told to expect. But it has taken me this long to (almost) reach 500 posts, posts which tend to be quite wordy at times but usually have correct grammar and spelling and, I hope, make intelligent thought provoking statements or contain useful information.
I see others posting 1000 - 1500 in the same time, yes or no posts, or so full of errors it's not always clear what they are saying, or one line statements which one cannot reply to. Often they are still asking how long they have to wait to get to 10.00 -- the minimum to get paid. (Mylot has just contacted me about getting paid for this month.) So, the conclusion I can draw is that even though the quantity of my posts is low, I am rewarded for the quality.

I have been here for a few months now and I can tell you that you don't make a million dollars on here. I come here to have some good conversations with friends and I don't go near discussions that allow for one line or word answers. These discussions usually get deleted by mylot anyway and you have wasted your time answering them. Have fun while you are on here is the answer I think and enjoy the new information you gather from people all over the world.

Quality always matters. It doesn't matter how much you post if your postings are meaningless. They need to have more to them then just a couple of words and of course meaning. I could post four lines but that doesn't mean those words will have any depth to them. So it's a matter of being on topic, having something to contribute to it and of course making it more then just a sentance or two. Now if you can do a ton of these in a day that will help your earnings but if not it is better to do 5 quality posts then 20 nonsense posts.

I'm agree with you, for the first month I posting a quiet short messages and my earn only get very very little, now the second month at mylot, I trying to post more at length and trying my best to give the best response as I can, the result is not too bad for me, I'm still catching my first pay out limitation 10$ right now, hopefully I can get it soon.
the most problem I get is, my english is poor T__T.

replying here won't matter of grammar...
but rather it's on how u made to share and let them understand. As i can remember that upon my registration...
how poor the grammar will be... so be it.
it's a change of ideas, and in so many ways.. that's the art of communication.

The problem lies with the discussion also. How can any one answer a question like what time is it? or do you speak English? Let's face it everybody wants to make money so they will naturally try to answer as many posts as they can.I think they need to regulate the discussions that are being started here first before trying to stop these people.

This has always been an issue here, and no doubt will continue to be so.
Nevertheless, the practice is far less prolific than it used to be due to the vigilance of Mylot admin and thier guidelines. Posting quality responses has it's own reward, after all it is better to enjoy your time spent here than simply chase the magic of money all day. Good posts also generate interest from other good posters, so your discussions will benefit from the reputation that you establish.

I give more preference to Quality rather than quantity. Quality is a consistent effort which comes with maturity and experience. Simply quantity may sell for the time being but in longer only the quality will leave the long lasting impression.

i only try to respond to topics that really interest me since i don't think i can pretend and say something knowing it doesn't make sense. Since i consider quality posts better, i also try to do the same here in my lot. Plus if i really know the topic, i dont think its hard to expound and write a few more lines than just saying yes or no. Some people just don't bother to read the guidelines, that they think that the number of posts is getting them somewhere.

I prefer quality posts over quantity, as a matter of fact I only average almost a dollar daily. This to me is nothing, because I try to choose discussions in which I think is more meaningful and I could give justice at. I find this site more entertaining and informative than a means of earning money. Money which is only an extra income for each and everyone of us and not as to depend on this site to make for a living..

ladyjava, what i want to say is that you are doing great on mylot!
as i can see that (cause i am your upline)you respond neither for money nor for the figure to increase; you just post out of your own ideas, and you always answer the topic that you have interest only!
You are a great lady!

You are right friend, many who respond to questions here do it just for the sake of it. But if we need to succceed eher and earn some good money, we need to look after the quality of all our postings. Our responses need to be at least four lines long, and should be focused on a specific subject. If we do not dedicate qaulity time to answer questions, we won't get them markes + or the best response. That's what I have learnt from experience.

I have always tried to post quality but there aren't many quality discussions worth commenting on . Somehow i end up writing my own discussion and end up with horrible posters who tend to find it funny and post one word answers. Its rather annoying trying to keep up a discussion with just a sentence or a one word answer. Perhaps people who do that should be given a seperate zone at which they can make a sentence discussion and reply with their short replies.

The quality matters a lot. more and more people are under an illusion that the number will give them more dollars. But it is not so. the quality, grammar, spelling everything counts I think.the one word answers are from the fortune seekers. thay need to understand that there are smart moderators here in Mylot. that is why i like the site than many other forums where the number adds to the earnings and get updated instantly. You need to reward the quality and stuff.

it's the popularity that gets you quality responses. People tend to get rated luckily and that makes their earning increase by a long shot. Most of the times I squeeze all my juices before posting. I want to have more responses as well as quality responses. I'm still waiting for the big break.

Honestly , I dont really no whether my previous responses are quality one or just adding to my post quantity . Similarly , some of Mylot members post sometimes are good & sometimes are not . In my opinion , the point of quality & quantity are important BUT money compensation as offered by mylot plays more vital role to make us see a lot of unique posting & thread every hour in a day...In one side it's good & on the other side it may be not good ...So , just take what you think good & forget about bad ones...Then,try to improve it !

regularly, i think that's the main reasons why everybody flocks in this site because of that rewards mylot has offered.
Although, i am a newbie here yet it is not that primary reasons why i am here, actually, i was registered here for case, and for the sake of curiosity of finding it out wether it's really true.
Whatever may be the outcome of my memebership here, well... surely because we done good as better.
I may not regularly visits mylot... but for sake of pasttime as well as for my mental gymnastics, it paid me so well.

it's a very relevant point of view.I have just been reading a response wich didn't satisfy me at all.I think it'a all about understanding;not everyone is smart ,not everyone is a philosopher but you must try to write something that will call for new oppinions.

I would say that the quality is better then the quantity.
Mathematic: 10*quantity=1 quality
