adam gilchrist, the left hander wicketkeeper and also a prominent opener for australia, a world champion..., who has a average and also a good strike rate..which is developing himself more confident and aggressive in every of his next matches. he is a key root of success to australian team. his wicket keeping and also some furious shots in the off sides also makes him more reliable and strong from the batsmen point for australia..! but as compared to other left handed batsmen in the world, i want to know...IS ADAM GILCHRIST IS THE BEST LEFT HANDED BATSMEN IN THE WORLD..???

Adam Gilchrist is the opening batsman and he fired like anything. He had a good stroke.
Adam Gilchrist is one of Australia's best wicket keepers. Adam Gilchrist has played 95 matches and scored 2968 runs at the average of 33.34. He made 6 hundreds and 14 fifties. He has taken 118 catches.
Gilchrist was born on the 14th November 1971 in Bellingen, New South Wales. Adam wanted to become one of the fastest bowlers in the world. He is now one of Australia's best wicket keepers. He has played 46 one day matches.

Well I am a proud Aussie and love watching Gilchrist smash the opposition all over the park but I wouldn't say he's the BEST batsmen in the world, I think Ricky ponting is still the best at the moment, but Gilchrist is certainly the most dynamic and thrilling to watch when he gets going....Good fella to, nice guy!

i am not sure about it,adam gilchrist is a good batsman, this is true and plays the pace ball well,he is a real hitter, probably the best opener for a team can have,he gives a flying start to his team, even plays good long innings in test matches.. but i have little doubt about his ability to play spin.

I do agree with u but there is another wicketkeeper batsman who can leave adam gilchrist back.Indian wicket keeper Mahender Singh Dhoni he can hit the ball all around the ground and can hit the long way down the group,he can break balling attack of any team,His strike rate is also almost 100..............
