I'd have to go with Eddie Izzard as my favorite; he just has such a strange slant on stuff. I'm a long time fan of George Carlin, although I prefer him when he's not TOO enraged. Tracy Chapman is funny, but a bit of a song of one note. Janeane Garofalo is one of my favorite funny women, but I'm not even sure if she does standup anymore.

Isn't Eddie Izzard that cross-dressing comedian? Brings back memories of my ex..... :-\ I saw his show a while back and he was funny. I think Garafalo is more into being an actress nowadays.
