how to make proper poop

i have 1 damn cute persian cat which given by my neighbour on the last two weeks. but i have one big problem which really annoyed me and pissed me off. it pee and poop everywhere in the house!!! those who experienced this please tell me how to teach a cat to poop only one place which ill manage later. my mom are tired with this and used to say to throw away my cat.help

I have seven cats, three of them are Persians. First of all how old is the cat? Cats are smart animals and should know to use litter boxes, I rarely have this problem, What you do is rub the cats nose in their poop or pee then throw them in the litter box. Also have more then one litter box. Cats that do this kind of thing are usually upset about something or smell something that they do not like. They also hate tin foil I once had this happen behind my t.v. so I put a sheet of foil down in the spot they were doing it in and they stopped. I have a lot more helpful hints if you need them.
