Anyone watched the movie Dark City? The story is about someone who wakes up, find himself had lost all his memory and chased by some strangers. I think this movie is great. The story is fascinating. Some even compares this movie with Matrix.
Anybody watched this?

I have a copy and I've watched three or four times. It's wonderfully creepy and strange. Great special effects, and it's always fun to see Keiffer Sutherland doing one of his off-the-wall creepy characters.
I don't see how it compares to The Matrix, but parts of it do remind me of City of Lost Children.

It doesn't really compare to the Matrix film very well, but it has similar scenes. A lot of films have the strange men chasing a single man scene, though.
Keiffer Sutherland is great, though.

The story is really quite interesting, so I think it is worth to give it a try. The less you know about the story before you see it, the better. Trust me.

It has been a really long time since I have seen this movie, but it was one of my favorite movies for a long time. It is really good, really different. I think I should add it to my "to buy" list since I just bought a bunch of movies from my list that were on sale for $5-7 at Movie stop today.

Dark City was one of the more ambiguous movies i have seen in a long time.It could be beste described as a mystery/fantasy movie where the caracters are placed out of time and out of place. The movie definitely had style. From which era, I am not sure.It was a mixture of America in the 1920's(by the style of dress ,cars).I tought that the intentional mixture of culture throughout the different eras really contributed to the mystic and confusion of the movie. However ,the plot i cannot really comment on.About Jennife Connelly i thought was brilliant and gourgeous.Overall,it was a njoyable movie.

Yes, this movie has a metropolis meets maxtrix kinda feel. I don't want to spoil anyone, but the comparison to the Matrix is particularly interesting. I know this movie isn't as popular as that one, but I really feel this film has a lot to offer. The visuals are particularly interesting.
