I presume it is going to be an an extremely difficult task for the Indian selectors to constitute a balanced cricket team for the World Cup 2007.
Please make your 15 member squad and help them in selecting the right combination. If possible please add your reasons for selecting each member. Here is mine...
1)Saurav Ganguly: He's come of age and doing well currently.
2)Virendra Sehvag: I'm not sure on him but feel he's right.
3)M. S. Dhoni(W/C): He does well when comes early.
4)Rahul Dravid (C): Can exchange place with Dhoni.
5)Sachin Tendulkar(V.C.): He finds form in the World Cup.
6)Dinesh Karthik: Strengthens the middle order.
7)Uvraj Singh: Quick run getter.
8)Harbhajan Singh:
9)Romesh Pawar:
10)Zaheer Khan:Ability to bowl at the death.
11)Munaf Patel:Acute line and length bowler.
Extras:
1)Robin Ithappa
2)Gautam Gambhir
3)Irfan Pathan
4)Ajeet Agarkar

I think Munaf is a better bowler than Ajit, however Ajit Agarkar has the early wicket taking capability so I think he should also be adjusted somewhere, but where I'm not sure as he is extremely expensive in his spells.
As far as Kumble is concerned I think he has delivered well in the past but dont you guys think Powar is a better option....what say?
