When do u get ur first cell phone?

I think I got my first mobile phone in 1999. I got it for a Christmas present after I started university as it was a cheaper way for my parents to keep in touch with me (I think there was quite a good offer on at the time). It was a Philips phone, I can't remember the model, but it was a great phone and I had it for ages. It certainly served me well during my university years.

I got it when I was 18 for my birthday. Unfortunately, after 1 week a gang stoled me in a local. I and my friend have seen them but they were very ugly people and perhaps they got army.

I got it in Jan 2005 during my sisiter-in-law's marriage. As I was d only person responsible for all d arrangements n shopping, so my Husband got me that.

We bought since 2002. First we used motorola then nokia alternate models. Past two years we are using gprs models . At present we are using nokia 6270. We learnt lot by gprs . Past five years we changed around five to six mobiles.

i was already working when i had my first cellphone --- that's some seven years ago. it's a nokia 2210. i still have it around, still working perfectly fine. come to think of it, i've never had it repaired even to this day.

I got it in 2002. I changed to use many models. I lost my old one in the internet shop, I called to the internet shop owner, the shop owner's child said, the shop children got it and left back, but I have never found it back when I was there again. I just got my new cell phone yesterday.

well i am from india and my age is 16 and i got the brand new cell just 10 months back(which seems to be old)anyway i was happy and i am still happy to have it,use it,sms it and enjoy it.

I got it in July 2006, exactly at the day of my college entrance test. But I lost it (someone stole it) about 2 months later... ( T_T )

I got my first one about 6 years ago. I carry it everywhere and feel lost without it but i hardly ever use it. Its more for people to ring me on.

I got my first mobile in Jan 2003 when I was a MCA student. I bought Nokia 3310 as my first mobile.

I don't remember the year, but it was back in the days when cell phones weighed nearly 5 lbs and were the size of a laptop computer. Early 1990s. I remember hiding it under the seat when I left the car because I did not want anyone to break into my car and steal it. None of that walking down the street and talking on the phone stuff. LOL

I've got my very first cell phone when i started high, because it was far from home and my parents wanted to know if i'm ok. :P

I got first cell phone last year about auguest of 2006. I love it, it's also a picture phone and i can send pictures of my children to my relatives that live out of state.

In 1996, I had just been married, and my husband was being shipped over seas for 6 months,so for safety my parents bought me one. It was this big ugly thing. Not like phones today.
