Padrino means Godfather in Italian. Was this forum asking what a nickname means, or what each person in this forum's nickname means? A nickname is either a shorter version of one's name, or an affectionate name given to a person meant to describe their nature; for example, if your name were John, some might call you Joe or Johnny, or something not entirely related to your name like. An example of a nickname not related to your actual name might be "Doc" because your friends think you act like or could have been a doctor! My nickname is a combination of my personality; I'm left handed and I love to write-- thus leftnwrite! (It's also a play on "left and right") One question I had though: What did this have to do with the Godfather?
