When you live in the same town as your parents and they have a five-bedroom house what is the logical point of renting your own apartment and paying rent just to prove that you are an adult. Especially when you are single and your parent's house is empty.

Well some people would prefer to be independent and able to live by their own rules. I don't think it's fair for you parents to have to support you once you have a job of your own. I don't think any parents plan on having their children with them forever, we hope to raise our children to be kind, caring, compassionate children who are able to support themselves.

I guess..but in africa where survival is hard i believe if the house is large enough that we dont get in each other's face then its ok to stay.
