Is democracy responsible for the increase in corruption??

DEMOCRACY is considered to be the best form of government. yet has caused a huge increase in corruption and anti social activities.condition of people is worsening ,rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer.can democracy bridge the gap between the two???

Democracy or any form of government has nothing to do with worsening status of one's country, it is the people who ran the government itself.
