People in our country are among those who have close family ties. We believe that "Blood is thicker than water", and so, right or wrong, chances are, we place ourselves beside a family member. there's nothing I wouldn't do for them.

Well, If you ask me, which well... nevermind...
Anyways, i think there is a such thing as being too close, but it's usually got to do with your parents, brothers and sisters will be brothers and sisters, but sometimes there's got to be a limit.
My family, A bunch of crazies that deserve to be in assylums, who knows i may be close to there too *Wink*
Hope everything;s going well,
Take care

Goranimal, I am a helping person by nature. I can't help myself. As a rule it doesn't matter whether I'm related to the person or not. But, not everyone can be helped. And many will take advantage of good intentions. Relatives are no different. I have family members that I would rather they didn't come around me. I'm sure others here do as well. And for those relatives, I'd would have to do some deep soul searching, to put myself, or my families, well being on the line to help. I wouldn't turn them away if they needed food or shelter. But anything more would take a lot of consideration before doing it.
So would I do anything for my family members? I guess it depends on which one is in need, and what it is they need.
