My friend takes drugs - should i tell his family?

Wow that's a loaded question! I would talk to the friend first express my concerns and advise that if they are not able to take steps to change the behavior then for their on safety and well being I am going to have to go to the family.

Since your friend will not hear you then yes you should tell the family and then if they don't, then consider authorities. You may cause alot of trouble however it might just be the thing to stop this tradegy from advancing. Somehow, someway I hope that this works out.

Well I think you should talk to him first and if that does not work then have a word with his Family as you know as well as I do it is not good. So I suggest you speak to him first and if that does not help or work then you will have to take other Actions.

It depends how old he/she is. If he/she is an adult I would not get involved in that. I would keep trying to talk to your friend. Your friend has to be the one who wants to stop. Nothing you, his parents or anyone else can say will stop it. :)
