Why do people like high risk sports?

Do you feel you need to thrive on the exciting, heart pounding thrill of, skiing downhill, snowboard, sky jumping, cliff diving, bungee jumping ....etc. Does the thrill of death excite you and do you have to try an exciting risk sport?
