if wnat to check the current speed of your processor etc download and run cpuz utility, if wnat to go for advanced test then download AIDA system utility software, it is also a freeware... run and compare your specs with the ones in its own database

you can actually try also cpu-z its freeware also or if you want benchmarks try Sisoft Sandra
