noisey neighbors

I live in an apartment and my husband and I are respectful of our neighbors and the television isn't loud and we don't play music loud. Here is my problem. Our upstairs neighbors have no problem with playing their bass really loud to the point where that walls shake and if I am in thr family room I can hear the words of the song. In general they are just loud and see no problem with it. We are going to be here at least another year. Any advice would be appreciated.

You could always bolt a speaker, facing up, to the ceiling. Blast what ever kind of music they do not like 24/7. Maybe they'll get the hint.

Before you make any complains with your landlord, you may talk to your noisy neighbor first. You can talk to them in a nice way. But after you talked to them and if they continue to do the same thing, this is the time that you will need to make a complain to the landlord.

Hey nmw2005, i guess you should make a complaint to lanlord, or person who takes care of those residence over there, infact better way i feel is if you have good communication with those neighbour you can tell them about this problem very lightly so that thay should not feel uncomforatable at the same time they can understnad your problem too, hope you got what excatly i meant to say?...best luck!!!
