How many wars have been fought in the name of religions ? Religion should bring peace, universal love, not hate. I don't understand this contradiction of the religions that want peace and for a series of unfortunate situations produce wars. I can't manage to get to the bottom of it. Then, however, I look at the faces of the Cardinals, of the Mullahs, of the Rabbi and I think that they are all men, just men.
What do you think about ?

All wars are based on religion. Why? religion has principles and somehow the politicians use those "principles" to gain the public eye. They'll mention words like "faith, moral responsibility, peace, tyranny, pray and even God." Most wars were fought because of politics and they simply twisted the words to make the war a religious war. Like Bin Laden, he says that it's a holy war but simply put, he's just a very rich terrorists who hates the US and it's allies. I don't even know what he's fighting for? Allah? Independence? Tyranny of the US? That's why politics and religion never mix and if they do most of the time it ends up in conflict.

I agree with you. God is only love and peace. People cause wars, it is not in the name of religion. It is for their own gain and greed. It is from satan, not God.

Religions do bring peace and love it's the people in charge of these religions that spread hate and war by missinterpreting thier religion, christians, jews, muslims ect. the religions themselves are all about peace and respect, but people ie the crusaders in the old day, the IRA, the al qieda's of the modern day, they all twist religions and make it sound like they do when in actual fact they haven't got a clue about "thier" religion,I have read all the holy books from different religions and can say they all give the same main message "love and honour" p.s. I'm an athiest

The only thing is that v stop knowing our religion. infact v dont have time to learn, and know our religion and v hire Mullahs for it and v pay them. and Mullahs are creating issues for the sake of there job. the thing is v have to learn, read, and understand our religion. and its is the need of time..
